‘Logic Gates’ got a new speed record

A new speed record has been set by the researchers for the ‘logic gates’ that work as a building block for quantum computers. The researchers at Oxford University is using a trapped-ion technique to develop its computer, in which the logic gates place two charged atoms, which contain the information in the form of bits.

Researchers at Oxford University worked to increase the speed of those gates without compromising the accuracy of quantum logic gates.
